'White' is a solo work of Igor Krutogolov and was conceived as a single conceptual composition which consist of seven parts, composed and played in the spirit of what can be described as a mix of “neo-classical” composition, electro-acoustic ambient, minimalism and avant-garde. This work apply mostly to minimalist and romantic consonances which are filling the air. Amazing soundscape as could be expected from this unique and unpredictable artist.

"Igor Krutogolov has been getting good at unpredictability, and White takes his mysterious mischievousness up to the next level...Slightly pastoral at first, the music slowly grows mournful, hitting heart-clenching sadness around the 36th minute. And throughout it all is the sound of rain on rooftops, a sound that will remain long after the music is all gone...generally White sticks to its own soundworld, a rather narrow world, where ideas are often reiterated and things do get a bit long-winded."
(from AllMusicGuide review by Francois Couture)

"If the stalwart listener can be patient, “White” offers unique rewards. Not your typical electro-acoustic mishmash by any means, it’s an eccentric offering that surprises as much as it annoys. Worth a shot." (from review in Bagatellen ezine)

"Quite hypnotic and engaging at times, this is surrealist music, with a built in tension that keeps lurking around the corner, and the listener is waiting for something to happen. Wether or not it happens I won't reveal, but it's a pretty strong CD"    (from review in Vital Weekly ezine)

" he takes the time to draw the listener deeper and deeper into an almost sterile, restrained setting, with sonic layers of strings, flute, keyboards, bowed bass, chimes, rain and other environmental recordings leading fluently unto other sonic layers. Everything evolves patiently, with timbres of sounds gradually developing into majestic semi-melodic lines — a modern, minimalist symphony."    (from review in Maelstrom ezine by Avi Shaked)
